So excited!!!

Made 6 days worth of dinners and 4 days worth of lunches for $2-4 each and my first batch of laundry detergent...I LOVE IT. The food turned out good and will save us a ton of time and money!

I made a double batch of each:
Tater Tot Casserole
Beef Stroganoff
Black Bean Chicken Pasta

My latest money saving attempt...

Bring down our grocery bill...I have always felt it was as low as I could possibly get it but I decided to try harder, and with an 8 mo old baby!  I am trying to make my own laundry soap this weekend, cant wait to see how it turns out.  I am really not big on coupons so I am going to see how I can save without them first.  Any suggestions? 

First post!

My first blog post!  I have been wanting to create a blog for so long...everyday I have things happen that I would love to share and see if others are going through the same.  As you can see, we are trying daily to become debt free and eventually live off a single (and maybe part-time) income.  I am SO encouraged to see how many of you out there are already doing this...it really can be done!  Sometimes it seems a never ending struggle but what a testimony we will have to share one day...and we are creating some great memories in the process! 


Any of you going through or have already been through this process???
